Saent
Saent set out to make focused work easier with a combination of hardware and software: a physical button on your desk that started a focused session, paired with an app that blocked distractions and tracked your progress.
We ran a successful Indiegogo campaign for the device and shipped it to backers worldwide. The product was covered by Newsweek, Quartz, New Atlas, and a dozen other publications, and the underlying approach was patented.
The hardware era eventually ended, but the mission continued in software: Lifeline is Saent’s direct descendant. The full story is documented in the 9-part “My Personal Productivity Journey and the History of Saent” series.
